Activists rally in Utah to push through the vote for a statewide anti-discrimination act

In a statement to Fox 13 the bills sponsor (senator Ben McAdams D-Utah) said:

“The problem is around the nation people believe that Utah discriminates and that’s, I think, the real power of this bill is to send a signal that we are a welcoming community, that we accept the differences of everybody in our community and we’re a place that businesses can come and bring their employees and their employees will be treated well.”
